Green-Wood Cemetery
Section 99, Lots 19802-19805.
The Anson G. Phelps Mausoleum.
Originally buried in New York Marble Cemetery, Anson G. Phelps and several others were moved from their Marble Cemetery vault into this Green-Wood mausoleum in October of 1872. Some of those moved with him were unnamed in the original records.

[NOTE: Burial list from online cemetery records, with burial dates, which may represent reburials after removal from previous graves. Contact the cemetery for more complete information about this lot and its occupants at http://www.green-wood.com:
ATTERBURY: Benjamin B, 5/5/1900; and Olivia Phelps, 4/23/1896.
The following were moved from New York Marble Cemetery into this tomb on or about October 24, 1872:
SEYMOUR: Anson G P, James, and “Mr.”
PHELPS: Anson G, Lydia, Olivia.
UNKNOWN (2removals were listed as “unknown.” It is reasonable to assume that one of them was Anson G. Phelps, Jr. His widow, Jane Gibson Phelps, lived until Dec 31, 1908 and is interred in Tarrytown, NY.]
