Helen was the daughter of Herman Von Bokern and Frances Wolkenstorfer. On 15 Sep 1926 she married Clarence J. "Pink" Korfhage and they had five children: Lois, John, Gerald, Clarence and Glenn. She and Clarence ran the old Korfhage's Grocery at 1924 Preston Street. Helen died at the home of a sister at the age of 74.
