JESSE A. CRAFT, 45, TAKEN BY DEATH; FUNERAL THURSDAY
Jesse A. Craft, 45, for many years a sandblaster in local foundries, died at 4 o'clock this morning at his home, 122 Garfield, following an illness that confined him to his home the past month.
He was born January 20, 1895, in Indiana, but had lived in Benton Harbor for many years.
In addition to his wife, Anna (nee, Lilly), he leaves eleven children, Charles, Edward, Frank, John, Eva June, Margaret, Mary Ann, Mildred, Robert and William Francis all at home, and Albert, who is in the U. S. Army at Ft. Lewis, Wash. He also leaves his mother, Mrs. Nettie Jane Craft, of Benton Harbor, and six brothers, Mike, Ransom, Charles, Frank, and Arthur, all of Benton Harbor, and Joe; and a sister, Mary.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at the Esalhorst chapel at 2 p.m. under the direction of the Rev. Glenn Fry. Burial will be at Crystal Springs cemetery.
