Professional Football Player. For ten seasons (1993 to 2002), he played at the left and middle-linebacker positions in the National Football League with the San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs. Born Lewis Fitzgerald Bush, he was raised in Washington where he attended high school in Tacoma and played collegiate football at the Washington State University. Selected by San Diego during the 4th round of the 1993 NFL Draft, he appeared in 141 regular season games. In 1994, he shared playing time with a Chargers' linebacker core that included David Griggs, Dennis Gibson and Junior Seau, which factored into San Diego's appearance in Super Bowl XXIX on January 29th, 1995. After concluding his playing career with the Chiefs following the 2002 season, he remained in the sport serving as a pregame radio analyst with the Chargers. He died from an apparent heart attack at the age of 42.
