Matthew "Matt" Charles Williamson, beloved husband and father, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 in Payson, AZ. He was born April 4, 1922 in Amarillo, Texas to Granville Matthew Williamson and Mary Justina Low Williamson.

Matt was a very hard worker who took good care of his family and provided well for them. He worked at Southern California Edison Electric Company for 37 years. Matt served honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1941-1945. He was a long time member of the Masons and Shriners. He truly loved being part of these organizations. Matt married his sweetheart, Marilyn Anne Crosby, on April 25, 1954. He brought his family to Pinetop, AZ in 1995.

Matt is survived by his wife, Marilyn and his beloved daughter, Patricia, both of Pinetop, Arizona.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Owens Livingston Mortuary – White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low, Arizona.

Private Entombment will follow on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, California under the direction of Owens Livingston Mortuary.
