Sybil (Moseley) Bingham was the daughter of Pliny and Sophia (Pomeroy) Moseley. She was the 1st wife of Rev. Hiram Bingham. Sybil was a school teacher. They were married in 1819 - six days before they left as missionaries for Hawaii. Rev. Bingham was the leader of the first group of Protestant missionaries to introduce Christianity to the Hawaiian Islands. He died November 11, 1869.
