Spanish Royalty. Born the daughter of Guillaume VIII, Duc d'Aquitaine and his second wife. In 1069, she married Alfonso VI, King of Castilla and León who was involved in succession war with his brother Sancho. The couple had to flee their kingdom in 1072, but were able to return after Sancho's murder later that year. The couple did not appear in public together after 1077.
