Benton, William Alfred, age 87, a resident of Columbiana, AL, passed away at Columbiana Health and Rehabilitation on Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Graveside service will be at 2:30 PM, Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Summerhill Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Perkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM prior to the service at Bolton Funeral Home. Mr. Benton is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Benton and a daughter, Brenda Sue McKinney. Mr. Benton is survived by his son, Mike (Sandra) Benton; grandchildren, Kerrie (Donnie) Lomas, Michael Benton, Jr., Mark Benton, Sherry (John) Ray, Donna (Bryan) Hallmark, Billie (Kelly) Young; 9 great grandchildren and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
