Death Beats Soldier Home.
Columbus, Apr. 3. --- When Alfred J. Mobley left home to join the regular army there were nine in his family, and when he returned home there were only four to greet him. He was bugler in Company B, Eighteenth United States Infantry and has done service at Fort Riley and Fort Leavenworth, Kas. Those who are at home are his mother, Mrs. Susanna Mobley, and three sisters, Mrs. Albert Lister, Miss Minnie Mobley and Mrs. Anna Powell of Indianapolis, who came here especially for his home coming. His ather has died since he left home and brother and sisters have gone. He was honorably discharged.
