Dr Percy Goff, son of the late Senator Nathan Goff and one of the wealthiest men in West Virginia fell dead in his hotel room at a local hotel at Clarksburg last Saturday. He had just returned from New York, where on Saturday he said goodbye to his son, who was sailing to Europe to join his mother.
Dr Goff was well known and was a brother-in-law of Mrs Miller Gallaher, of Charleston, and also a brother in-law of John W Davis, former United States ambassador to Great Britain during the Wilson administration.
