DIED - At Stewiacke, on the night of the 22nd ult., Gilbert McCulloch, a new settler in the woods. On the morning of that day, he had left home on business, and was returning in the evening, but the night being very cold he perished within a mile of his own house. The coroner being distant about 30 miles, Samuel Tupper, Esq., called a jury whose verdict was:"Died by the visitation of God." He was lately from Ayreshire, Scotland, and an industrious man. He has left a widow and 8 children in destitute circumstances.
