Robert Willard Lincoln, Sr., 65, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2004. Mr. Lincoln was born in Abingdon to the late Ralph Louis and Sarah Richardson Lincoln and was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Anderson Lincoln. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech, where he played football and was the captain of the freshman team. He was the owner and operator of Lincoln Builders, an avid golfer and a member of the Royal Oak Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Lincoln; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert, Jr. and Diane Lincoln of Marion, Colin and Melanie Lincoln of Marion, John and Laura Lincoln of Marion; two brothers, Ralph L. "Abe" Lincoln and wife Margaret "Peggy" Lincoln of Kingsport, Charles F. Lincoln of Marion; four grandchildren, Michael Lincoln, Samuel Lincoln, Laura Lincoln and Carson Lincoln; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Samuel "Andy" Anderson, Jr. and wife, June Anderson. One niece, five nephews and his special companion, Shadow, also survive.

Funeral services will be held at the Royal Oak Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Neville Mozingo and Rev. Alan Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. Bradley's Funeral Home, Marion, is serving the family of Mr. Lincoln.
