He was a native of Jacksonville, FL. Milton was a truck driver for Benjamin Moore Paints and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include: wife- Jackie Lane of High Springs, sons- Billy, Edward, Melvin Jr., Jimmy, David and Art Lane, two Daughters- Joyce and Sandy Lane, one sister- Jeanne Young, eight grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, Dec. 30th at Evans-Carter Funeral Home in High Springs with Rev. Mark Driskell officiating. Burial will be in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Fort White.
Visitation will be Thursday Dec. 29th at the funeral home from 6 till 8 P.M.
