"Linda Joy Huff, age 72, who resided in Lakeside Village on Lake Whitney, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, in the Park Plaza Nursing Home in Whitney after an extended illness.
Her cremated remains will be buried in the Kopperl Cemetery. No services are planned.
Linda was born Nov 21, 1939, in Stephenville, a daughter of the late George Lewis Brooks, Sr. and Naomi Spears Brooks. She was a retired secretary for Texas Refinery. Linda a member of the Baptist Church and was active in all of the activities in Lakeside Village, especially the Lakeside Volunteer Fire Department and first responders.
