Roland E. Aigner, 85, of 2813 S. 18th St., died unexpectedly Tuesday at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital, after suffering a heart attack at his home.

Mr. Aigner was born June 18, 1901, in Sheboygan, son of Joseph and Ottilia Mais Aigner.

Mr. Aigner was married to Eleanor Kaufman, who died in 1963.

On March 24, 1966, he married Marie Stauber at Zion United Church of Christ in Sheboygan.

Mr. Aigner was employed at Kohler Co. as a supervisor in the pottery division for 39 years, retiring in 1967, and was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club.

He was also a member of Zion United Church of Christ, its Men of Leisure Club, and was a past member of the church consistory.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, Hugo, and a sister, Miss Rose Aigner, both of Sheboygan.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, eight brothers and two sisters.

The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Nickel-Lippert Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Clark, pastor of Zion UCC, will officiate. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

A memorial has been established in Mr. Aigner's name.
