Gadicke took place Saturday at "Immanuel United Church of Christ, Plymouth. The Rev. William Bender officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arno Knoener Sr. of Plymouth. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gadicke of 3414 Division St., Manitowoc. Members of the bridal party included Irene Ransom of Milwaukee, matron of honor for her sister. Miss Marilyn Sommer of Sheboygan. Miss Kay Kundinger of Waukesha, Miss Jean Gadicke, sister of the groom, and Darlene Lefeber of Sheboygan Falls. Steve Korlesky was best man, and groomsmen were Bill Krcma. Jim Krizek. William Knoener. brother of the bride, and Jerome Lefeber of Sheboygan Falls. Junior attendants were MaryAnn Unger and Arno Knoener Jr . brother of the bride. Karl Knoener, brother of the bride, and Mary Stelzer, sister of the groom, ushered. Harvey O. Gadicke, 68, of 3414 Division St., Manitowoc, died early Monday morning, April 25, at the family residence.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate and entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Gadicke was born July 3, 1914, at Brillion, son of the late Edward and Emma Maile Gadicke. He married Gladys C. Kasbaum April 22, 1944, at Brillion, and moved to Manitowoc in 1964, residing here since. Prior to his retirement in 1980, he had been employed with Weyerhaeuser Company.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys C.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, James H. Gadicke of Manitowoc and Roy E. and JoAnn Gadicke of Howards Grove; two daughters, Mary L. Stelzer and Jean A. Gadicke of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Lillian) Boettcher of Brillion and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
