Former Eldon resident Icie L. Fendorf, 88, of Kansas City, Kan. died Jan. 24, 1989 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. She was born in Ulman but had lived in Kansas City, Kan. since 1942. Her husband, Frank Fendorf, died in 1976.
Mrs. Fendorfwas a practical nurse for Bethany Hospital for 20 years. She was a member ofthe Golden Age Senior Citizens Group; the Visiting Nurse Association of Kansas City, Kan. Auxiliary; and the Union Pacific Railroad Auxiliary. She also was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ where she was an elder.
Surviving her are three sons, Frank W. Fendorf of Overland Park, Kan., James E. Fendorf of Leavenworth, Kan. and Kenneth M. Fendorf of Aptos, Calif.; two daughters, Carolyn Fendorf of Lenexa, Kan. and Marilyn Gunderman of Overland Park; three sisters, Blanche Haines of Kansas City, Kan., and Eileen Humphreys and Lois Adcock, both of Leawood, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandsons.
Services were held Friday at the Zion United Church of Christ. Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
