STAN GIPSON RITES MARCH 18

Stan E. Gipson, 34, passed away Saturday, March 15, 1975, at Logan County Hospital from injuries received in a one car accident early Saturday morning four miles south of Holyoke on U.S. 385.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 18, 1975, from the Assembly of God Church in Holyoke, with the Rev. Bob Jackson officiating. Interment was in Holyoke Memorial Park.

Stan was born on January 8, 1941, in Fairbury, Nebraska, to Wayne and Leoda Gipson. He graduated from Omaha Tech in 1959.

After graduation he moved to Big Springs, Nebraska, where he was employed for a short time by the Co-Op before moving to Julesburg, where he was employed by Kansas-Nebraska Gas Co. In 1969 he transferred to Holyoke where he continued his employment with Kansas-Nebraska Gas Co.

On June 9, 1973, he was united in marriage to Vicky Clay and to this union one son was born, Yano Wayne.

Since his move to Holyoke Stan had been an active member of the Holyoke Volunteer Fire Department and the Holyoke Jaycees.

He is survived by his wife Vicky; one son Yano; three daughters, Kim, Theresa, and Senea; his parents, Wayne and Leoda Gipson; one brother, Charles; two sisters, Helen and Bonnie all of Omaha, Nebraska, a brother, Gerald of Lincoln, Nebraska; a niece, three nephews, and many relatives and friends.
