Glenn R. Conkey, 65, of Graysville, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1965, of an apparent heart attack while hunting on a farm near Graysville.

He was born Sept. 24, 1900, at Center Point, W. Va., a son of Thomas M. and Jane Workman Conkey.

He married Bessie Jones on March 16, 1921, who survives.

Mr. Conkey resided all his life at Graysville where he was a member of the Graysville Volunteer Fire Company and the Graysville Sportsmen's Club. He was employed as a well tender and a roustabout for the Carnegie Gas Company for 36 years. He retired in Dec. 1963.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are one son, Wayne, of Graysville; one step-daughter, Mildred, wife of Clyde McMillan, of Wheeling, W. Va.; five step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harl, of Graysville, and Carl, of Barberton, Ohio, and two sisters, Jean, wife of Thomas Gazy, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Ruth, wife of Raymond Stewart, of Waynesburg, R. D. 5.

One son, Roy, three brothers and one sister are deceased.
