Pike Landusky was a Montana pioneer. The town of Landusky, MT was named after him. While deputized as a lawman, Landusky had an encounter with the infamous Harvey Logan, also known as Kid Curry, who was sometimes called "The Mad Dog of the Wild Bunch." Logan later shot and killed Landusky during an altercation at Jew Jake's Saloon in Landusky. Pike is buried by himself on a small hill about a mile south of Landusky. His grave is on the east side of the highway, roughly a quarter mile from the highway on the Kolczak ranch (as of 1991). There is a marker and the grave is surrounded by a picket fence.
