Sarah Jane Morris, 80, of Holbrook Star Route, died at 5:4- p.m. Friday, June 13, 1969, at her home. She had not been in the best of health for some time.

Mrs. Morris was born June 12, 1889, at Holbrook, a daughter of Spencer and Martha McGlumphy Gump. She was married May 26, 1908, to Perry Morris, who survives.

All of her life was spent in the Holbrook area and she was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are six daughters: Mrs. Jesse (Dorothy) Eddy, of Holbrook; Mrs. Norval (Helene) Eddy, of New Castle; Mrs. Charles (Catherine) Kughn,of Beaver; Mrs. Martha Funk and Mrs. Louise Wade, both of Waynesburg, and Mrs. Russell (Jean) Scott, of Youngstown, Ohio; two sons: C. H. Morris, of New Brighton, and Oscar L. Morris, of Amarillo, Tex.; 40 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; one sister Mrs. Bertha Lapping, of Waynesburg and Doss and Joe Gump, both of Pine Bank.

Two daughters, two sons and one brother are deceased.
