Death: May 23, 1891

Indian Campaigns Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army in Company A, 5th U.S. Cavalry. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on March 25, 1873 at Turret Mountain, Arizona Territory. His citation reads "Gallantry in engagements." (bio by: Don Morfe)
