NORMAN B. KRUEGER

Norman B. Krueger, age 67, of 434 Westbrook Drive, Chilton, died Thursday, June 18, 1998, at the Theda Clark Regional Medical Center, Neenah.

Norman was born February 28, 1931, in the town of Rockland, Manitowoc County, son of the late Bennie and Elsie (Duchow) Krueger.

He married Marjorie Wiegert June 26, 1954, at Grace Lutheran Church, Valders.

Norman served in the United States Army in Korea, was a cheese maker at the Lake to Lake Cheese Company, Kiel, and had worked for Wisconsin Public Service for 37-1/2 years until retiring in 1993. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Valders, served as sexton for the church cemetery, and served on the church council for many years. He was a member and Commander of American legion Post #125, Childton, and had served as District Commander. He was also a member of V.F.W. Post #607, Kiel, the 40 et ?? 1434, and was a 4-H Leader for 19 years.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; three children, Sharon (Don) Schmidt, Hilbert, Paul (Beth) Krueger, Green Bay, and Allan (Mary) Krueger, De Pere; six grandchildren, Bryan, Tracey and Andrea Schmidt, Cortney and Rebecca Krueger, and Wesley Krueger; two sisters, Alice (Ray) Krutzi, Kiel, and Ellen (Dick) Kumbalek, Manitowoc; one brother, Stanley, Kathy) Krueger, Menomonee Falls; his mother-in-law, Johanna Wiegert, Chilton; two brothers-in-law, Frederick (Pat) Wiegert, San Ramon, Calif., and Donald (Pat) Weigert, Rhinelander.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 22, 1998, at Grace Lutheran Church, Valders. Rev. Philemon Hensel will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted at the cemetery by American Legion Post #125.

Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home, Chilton, from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, and on Monday, at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m.
A Memorial Fund has been established in Norman's name.
