Norbert F. Liermann, 76, a resident of Manitowoc Health Care Center, formerly of Valders and Milwaukee, died Friday evening, April 30, at the Health Care Center. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Valders East Cemetery.

Mr. Kiermann was born Dec. 13, 1905, in the Township of Liberty, Manitowoc County, son of the late Carl and Maria Hacker Liermann. He grew up and was educated at Valders and was a graduate of Valders High School, moving to Milwaukee in 1930. After 25 years of association with Allis Chalmers Association of Milwaukee, Mr. Liermann retired and moved to Manitowoc in 1975. He served with the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Liermann was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.

Survivors include a brother, Gordian Liermann of Germantown, Wis. and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Erna and a brother, Paul.

Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and until 11 a.m. Tuesday and then at the church from noon until the time of services.
