Lucille was born July 17, 1928, in the town of Cato, daughter of the late Elmer and Adeline (Wilms) Teesch. She graduated from Valders High School in 1946 and Manitowoc County Normal Teachers College in 1948. Lucille obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a Masters degree from Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee. She was an elementary school teacher, retiring in May 1990.
Lucille enjoyed dancing, bowling, walking in the woods and traveling. In her youth, she was a member of 4-H and rural youth. She also was a member of the Manitowoc County Retired Teachers Association.
Survivors include four brothers and two sisters-in-law: Delmar and Josephine Teesch, Manitowoc, Bill Teesch, Valders, Lawrence and Karen Teesch, Valders, Augie Teesch, Valders; a niece and two nephews: Tara Teesch, De Pere, Travis (fiancee Dawn Zipperer) Teesch, Kaukauna, and Tyler Teesch, Valders. She is further survived by cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one sister, Elaine Teesch, and one brother, Lyle Teesch.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, town of Liberty. Officiating at the funeral service will be the Rev. Gregory Pope with burial to follow at Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Valders.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006.

The family wishes to thank the staff of River's Bend, Dr. Foster and staff at the Wound Clinic of Aurora Medical Center for their special care of Lucille during her illness and the Rev. Gregory Pope for his many prayers and visits.
