William 'Bill' Potter, Oklahoma City, died Saturday, April 23, 1983. Survived by wife, LaVeta, of the home; one son, Robert E. Potter, Colorado Springs, Colorado; one daughter, Levita Anderson, Oklahoma City; one sister, Thelma Taylor, Medford, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He moved to Oklahoma City in 1927 from Guthrie, Oklahoma. He was affiliated with the Jones Boys Grocery Stores. He retired from the restaurant business. He was a master mason of the Myrtle Lodge. Also member of the Scottish Rite, the India Temple Shrine, and the Harmony Chapter of the Eastern Star. He was a member and served on the board of the Epworth United Methodist Church. Services will be Tuesday, 10 a.m. at the Epworth United Methodist Church with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery directed by Capitol Hill Funeral Home.
