Joseph Tuschel, 70, lifelong resident of the county, died Wednesday afternoon at the farm home in Cato, following a stroke. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Berge funeral home in Valders. Burial will be in the Valders cemetery.
Mr. Tuschel was born in Liberty in 1873 and in 1899 married Miss Anna Luebke. They located in Cato, where Mr. Tuschel farmed and also engaged in the carpenter trade.
Survivors are the widow; three sons, Edwin of Liberty, Egon of Newton and Erwin of Cato; three brothers, John and George of Cato, Frank, of Liberty; five sisters, Mrs. Joseph Seigle of Kohler, Mrs. Frank Kohlbeck, Mrs. Edwin Kasbaum, and Mrs. John Gerl, of Cato, and Sister M. Fermina, of Silver Lake convent; and one grandchild.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Friday noon until the hour of the services.
