Rosemary was the eldest child of four children born to John Charles Flynn and Nora Wincie Eldridge. She married Roy Franklin Ralston (son of Frederick Ralston and Estie Matilda Stringfellow) on 6 Jun 1936 in Goshen, Elkhart, Indiana. They had one daughter named Esta Norita.

Her husband preceded her in death leaving her to raise their eight year old daughter alone.

Rosemary then remarried to William Dadoe Jackson (son of William Clarence Jackson and Dora Rebecca Foster) on 25 Oct 1945 in Gary, Lake, Indiana. They had one daughter named Joyce Elaine.
