Corsicana, Texas - Pierce Colquitt, 91, retired owner and publisher of the Corsicana Democrat and Truth, a weekly newspaper, died Wednesday.
He retired in the 30's and the paper afterwards ceased publication. He had been in the newspaper business 50 years.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with burial here. Mr. Colquitt was a brother of former Gov. O B Colquitt and was the last survivor of the family.
