MRS. MARY CASEY CALLED BY DEATH
Well Known Streator Resident Answers the Final Summons During Night.

At midnight last evening at the family residence on South Park street occurred the death of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Casey after along illness with pernicious anemia. She is survived by one son, Girard and three step children, Mrs. M. E. Maher, of Chicago, Mrs. P. J. Lucey and Olas Casey of Streator. Also by her father, H. F. Howland, two sisters Lydia and Lucy, and one brother, H. J. Howland.
Miss Mary Elizabeth Howland was born on August 20, 1859, and at the age of 11 years came with her parents to Wilmington, Ill., and resided in that city until 1880 when they moved to Streator where she has since resided. Jan. 2*, 1885, she was united in marriage to Nicholas Casey who died about one year and a half ago.

The funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at the Church of the Immaculate Conception with interment at St. Mary's cemetery.

The deceased had a host of friends in Streator who loved her dearly and all are bowed with grief at her death. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved relatives.

FUNERAL OF MRS. CASEY IS LARGELY ATTENDED
Remains Are Laid to Rest in St. Mary's Cemetery This Morning---Services at Immaculate Conception.

The funeral services of the late Mrs. Mary Casey were held this morning at the Church of the Immaculate Conception and a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends gathered to attend the solemn requiem mass.

After the services the funeral cortege was formed and proceeded to St. Mary's cemetery where the body of the beloved one was quietly laid at rest.

Among those who attended the services from abroad were: J. Conerton and John Cody of La Salle, Misses Irene and Celia Cavanaugh and C. E. Prendergast of Chicago. Misses Nora and Kate Lucey of Ottawa.
