He leaves his wife and two children, a daughter Repha {Rephah}, aged 14 years and a son Richard, aged five years, together with two sisters, Mrs. L.E. Reed of this city and Mrs. Ben Holthaus of Earlville and three brothers Charles, Alfred, and Lou Laun, all living near Charles City besides other more distant relatives and a host of friends."
