HARDINSBURG - John F. Apperson, 84, of Hardinsburg died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born in Urbana, Ill., and was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church in Hardinsburg. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and retired from Collegiate Cap & Gown Co. in Champagne, Ill.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Maier Apperson; a son, Ron Apperson of Hardinsburg; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Romuald Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Romuald Cemetery in Hardinsburg. Visitation is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Saturday at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.
