She was a native and lifelong resident of Muncie and formerly lived at 2601 W. Jackson Street. Mrs. Smith was a graduate of Muncie High School, was a charter member of College Avenue United Methodist Church and was a member of Chapter 104, Order of the Eastern Star, Bethel 25, Job's Daughters and Sweet Adelines.
Her survivors include two daughters, Madonna (Mrs. Thomas)Beall and Rosemary (Mrs. Robert) Smith, both of Muncie; four grandchildren and several great-grandchilren.
She was the widow of both Edgar Harrison Bond and Julian Elmus Smith.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, 8 Feb 1983, in Meeks Mortury, with Rev. Allan Byrne officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery where she will be buried next to her first husband. Calling hours at the mortuary will be between 2 and 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, 7 Feb 1983.
