Rita Lou "Louie" Einck, 83, of Waterloo, died Saturday at Bridges Assisted Living of cancer.

She was born July 30, 1928, in LaCrosse, Wis, the daughter of Vincent and Elizabeth Schwamman Junk. She married Jerome Einck on February 6, 1951, in St. Lucas. He died July 3, 2002.

Rita and her husband retired from farming in 1983. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Women's Auxillary both in Waucoma.

Survivors include: a daughter, Trudy (Gus) Conner of Waterloo; 6 grandchildren, Travis (Wendy) Chapman, Tracy (Brett) Ohrt, Kayla Conner, Jill Einck, Sara Einck, Neil (Katie) Einck; 7 great grandchildren; four sisters, Nellie Pavlovec of Calmar, JoAnn (Fritz) Massman of Decorah, Betty (Paul) Hackman of Calmar, Dora Lee (Bob) Terry of Thornton; a daughter-in-law, Jane Einck of New Hampton.

Preceded in death by: her husband; two sons, Tim Einck and Terry Einck; a brother, Lee Junk; two sisters, Anna Mae Hageman and Carol Jean Winter.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with burial at 2 p.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waucoma. Public visitation from 4-8 p.m.at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 5 p.m. rosary. Visitation also one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
