Mrs. JANE C. CARTER
Mrs. JANE C. CARTER, 93, for 61 years a resident of Cooke county, died at her home four miles south of Gainesville Sunday. Funeral services were held Monday at G. J. Carroll & Son chapel, Rev. E. H.MOSELEY of the Southern Presbyterian Church officiating, interment at Fairview cemetery. Surviving are three step-daughters, Mrs. JUDITH FISHER of Gainesville, Mrs. GRACE LUCAS of Wichita Falls, and Mrs. SARAH CULWELL of Fort Worth and several step-grandchildren. Mrs. Carter was born Nov. 23, 1842 in Virginia and married R. W. D. CARTER in 1874. Following his death, she married a cousin of her first husband, ROBERT CARTER, who died April 1931. Her children died in infancy.
