William Froehlich, 68, Fergus Falls, died Thursday, April 16, at Lake Region Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 20, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls, with Rev. Tom Patomaki officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Hewitt.
Mr. Froehlich was born Jan. 10, 1919, in Bertha one of eight children of William and Rosa (Scherf) Froehlich. He grew up on the family farm near Bertha and was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church there. He lived with his family in the Fergus Falls area, Henning and later in the Hewitt area. For the past several years, he had been a resident of the Pioneer Home in Fergus Falls.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Frieda) Gelle of Burtrum, Mrs. Clarence (Mildred) Mclntire of Leola, S.D., and Mrs. Martin (Rosa) Luedtke of Auburn, Wash.; and two brothers, Alfred of Brainerd and Elmer of Fergus Falls.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Glende Johnson Nelson Funeral Home and at the church one hour prior to services.
