A Mass of Christian Burial for Rose Marie DeLaurelle, 73, of Daggett, Mich., was held at 5 p.m. on Monday, April 19, at the Church of the Precious Blood in Stephenson, Rev. Fr. Mathew Perumpally officiated with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Banat.
She died Wednesday, April 14, at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette.
Born in Gardiner, Mich., on June 27, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John (Veronica Mathias) Beno Sr. She married Melvin DeLaurelle Sr. on July 27, 1947, in Holy Rosary Church in Banat, Mich., and he preceded her in death on May 17, 1958. She was a member of the Church of the Precious Blood in Stephenson.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan DeLaurelle and Mrs. Dale (Wanda) Przewrocki, both of Daggett, Mich.; three sons, Jim (Jan) of DePere, Melvin (Ruth) of Stephenson, Mich., and Scott (Tina) Hafeman of Daggett: 12 grandchildren, 23 greatgrandchildren; three sisters, Louise Echols of London, Ky., and Mrs. John (Barb) Hollo and Sandy Beno, both of Marinette; two brothers, Roy (Bonnie) Beno of Stephenson, and John Beno Jr., of Englewood, Fla.; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, David; one sister, Mary Beno; and a brother, Frank.
Anderson Diehm Funeral Home of Stephenson was in charge of arrangements.
