Rev. Dr. Samuel McKean was the son of Rev. Andrew and Catherine (Bedell) McKean. Sarah M. (Prescott was his 1st wife. They were married February 5, 1852. Sarah died August 23, 1867. Katharine (Porter) McKean was his 2nd wife. They were married December 1, 1868. Katharine died January 12, 1940. Rev. Dr. McKean was a minister in the Troy Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
