Son of John and Hannah Drinkhorn Sanday. Brother to Vivian, Priscilla, Christina, Allen, Marland, Howard, Walter, Robert, Donaldson, Edwin and Manley Sanday. He married Velma Sutherland on June 10, 1939. Later they divorced and John married Hazel Bailey Dahn. Velma and Johnny were parents to Sylvia May and Donna Kay Sanday. Johnny and Hazels first child was Janet Lee Sanday who was stillborn in 1943 (on find a grave).
