Mrs. Shackelford Dies In Tucson, Ariz.

Elizabeth Edwards Chisolm Shackelford, former Charleston businesswoman, preservationist and artist, and widow of Stephen Ford Shackelford, died last week in Tucson, Ariz., where she had lived for many years.

Mrs. Shackelford studied art under Jerry Farnsworth of North Truro, Mass., and WIlliam Halsey of Charleston. She ran dress shops in Charleston on Tradd and Church streets.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Pickett Leake of Rockingham, N.C.
