James I. Waychoff Sr., 81, of Core, W.Va., went home to be with his Lord Saturday, February 4, 2012, in his home.

He was born August 8, 1930, in Waynesburg, son of the late Charles R. Sr. and Pearl V. Watters Waychoff.

Mr. Waychoff was a truck driver and retired from the Teamsters after 30 years of service.

He also worked as an electrician and with the civil service police.

He was a member of Lions Club, Clay-Battelle Senior Citizens and Mason-Dixon Historical Park.

Mr. Waychoff was a member of Mt. Morris Assembly of God.

He loved hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, three sons, two daughters, two sisters, 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, are two sons, Roger L. Waychoff and Kevin R. Waychoff; three brothers; and two sisters.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, W.Va., where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 8.

Interment will be held in Fairview-Kiger Cemetery, Kirby.
