Final rites for Charles L. Capper, 84, retired decorating contractor, will be conducted at the Meeks Mortuary at 1:30 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Lewis W. Gishler. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday afternoon and evening.
He died Friday evening at Ball Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Van Wert County, O., Aug. 31, 1869, and had been a resident of Muncie for 60 years. Mr. Capper formerly lived at 225 Granville Ave., but during the past three years had made his home with his children.
Surviving are one son, Robert Capper of east of Eaton; a daughter, Mr. Harold Bush, RR 2, Muncie, and one sister in Kent, Ohio.
