Dr.George Quayle Neslen Sr,age 67,passed away on May the 15th,1982 in Sylvia,North Carolina at the home of his son George(Jerry)Quayle Neslen Jr,due to an apparent heart attach.George was born on April 10th,1915 in Salt Lake City,Utah,the son of Charles Clarence and Grace Telle Cannon Neslen,He married Eleanor Krogness on April 8th,1944 in Modesto,California. Dr.George Neslen graduated from LDS High School and attended Brigham Young University in Provo,Utah.He then went to the University of Utah in Salt Lake City,and George Washington University. He graduated from Medical School in 1942.He served as a flight surgeon in the U.S.Army during World War 2.He was engaged in general practice of medicine in King City,California from 1946 to 1950.Then he was a practicing Orthopedic Surgeon in Whittier,California from 1954 until his untmely death on May the 15th,1982.George is survived by his wife Eleanor, and is the Father of three children,George(Jerry) Quayle(Barbara) Neslen Jr,Nancy Grace Neslen(Gary)Collins,and Martha Eleanor
Neslen. He is survived by two brothers,Robert Cannon(Margaret)Neslen of Santa Barbara,California, and Charles Richard(LeVern)Neslen of Salt Lake City,Utah,and one sister Trudy Bennion.His Funeral was held on May the 19th,1982 and George was buried at the Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier,California.
