Shannon played for the Ottawa Senators from 1933 to 1934, Boston Cubs from 1934 to 1936, St. Louis Eagles from 1934 to 1935, Boston Bruins from 1934 to 1936, Providence Reds from 1936 to 1937, Montreal Maroons from 1936 to 1938, Springfield Indians from 1937 to 1938, and the Hershey Bears from 1938 to 1940.
