She was born on May 1, 1923 in Statesville, NC. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Nettie Warren, two sisters, and five brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Roscoe Goforth; one brother; one daughter; two sons; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Margaret Hockett officiating.
