Mrs. Myrtle Marie Wilson Bolt, 86, of Mount Airy, passed away early Monday morning, October 24, 2022, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.
Mrs. Bolt was born August 23, 1936, in Floyd County, VA, one of seven children born to the late William Theodore and Shirley Mae Conner Wilson.
Marie retired from Spencer's Inc. after many years of service and was a member of Shelton Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jesse Anderson Bolt, Jr. of the home; a daughter, Nancy Bolt Pugh of Mount Airy; two grandsons, Justin Landry of Mount Airy and Brandon Landry of Ponchatoula, LA; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary Frances Wilson Spangler Nester of Floyd, VA, Ruby Gay and Billy Harter of Bassett, VA, and Beulah Mae and Clyde Correll of Floyd, VA; a brother and two sisters-in-law, Percy Lee and Phyllis Wilson of TX and Scottie Wilson of Lewisville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bolt was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Ann Bolt; a sister, Bonnie Rose Wilson; and a brother, James Robert Wilson.
