at the Southern Pacific Railroad, first as a fireman, then as a engineer.
He always went by Art, and died at the Birmingham Veterans Hospital.

Wilbur A. Hilts, 53, of Alhambra, Cal., formerly of Eau Claire, died at his home,
according to work received here today. He is survived by a son, George Hilts of
Indio, Cal., and a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Beak* of Valdez Alaska, four sisters, and
one brother, all of California. Mr. Hilts has lived in California for the past twenty
five years.
