Vittoria Maria (Iamartino) Creta- Born in Cusano Mutri, Province of Benevento, Italy to Liberato Antonio Iamartino and Maria Giuseppa (Rapa) Imartino, she married Altieri Creta also of Cusano Mutri, Italy May 8th, 1937 in Cusano Mutri Italy. They had 11 children: 5 daughters; Antonette Melchoinna (deceased), Fernanda Arduini, Maria DeGioia (deceased), Maria Pina Morytko, Sylvana Creta & 6 sons; Rolando (deceased), John (deceased), Luciano (deceased), and Frank. Two sons died in infancy in Italy.
Vittoria immigrated to America in the 1950's with her husband and children. She resided in West Haven, Conn for many years, having worked for New Haven Coat Co.
She left 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was the most hard-working woman I had ever known, giving everything to her family.
She loved me like I was one of her own children.
