Born on 15 May 1915 in Jordan - Elbridge, Onondaga, NY., other date of birth is indicated as 18 May 1915, please refer to bottom section of bio.
As a youth, Glenn was raised in Camillus, Onondaga, NY.
He attended Camillus High School and was Salutatorian of Class of 1932.
On Oct. 28, 1933 in Memphis, NY., Glenn M. Scott, age 18, had married his 1st wife, Evelyn L. French (Evelyn was previously married to Lawrence Kelly who died on May 23, 1933 and they had 3 children: Lawrence Jr., Leona, and Kathleen Kelly).
Glenn and Evelyn had 4 children:
Janet D. Scott, Robert G. Scott, Richard C. Scott and Loretta H. Scott. They lived in or near the local area of Baldwinsville, NY for most of their marriage. Glenn was called into Selective Service and joined the U.S. Navy on 17 May 1944 and was discharged on 27 Nov. 1945. When WWII had ended and he returned home, Glenn decided to relocate his family. On Feb. 5, 1946, he bought the Frank Fesenmeyer, 58-acre farm, at auction known as the Brandy Brook Farm in Schroeppel, NY near Phoenix. The family lived in Phoenix for a few years. In Sept. 1949 he sold his Glenn Scott farm, Phoenix, to Fred Romanick of Fulton. He divorced Evelyn circa 1950 - 1953 and had moved from central New York to Los Angeles, Ca. leaving his family behind. Believed he gained employment with Grumman Corp (mfr. of aircraft for the military). Evelyn would remarry to a 3rd husband, Stanley Smith, and moved back to Baldwinsville. Stanley and Evelyn would have no children together. Glenn had lived with his cousin, Eva D. (nee Wise) Burger, at 1133 W. 51st St., Los Angeles, from 1952 to 1960 according to California Voter Registry along with the King family. Eva had been living in Los Angeles since 1940 and her husband, Raymond A. Burger, had died in 1951 leaving her as a widow. Both Glenn and Eva were registered as Republican party for several years. It is believed Glenn and Eva lived in the same household until her death in 1977. In 1977, Glenn's new residence is at 728 Arden Ave., Glendale, Ca. as he likely retired at age 62 from Grumman Aircraft Corp.
Glenn also had remarried many years later. The marriage to his 2nd wife, Lucy Orfelia Ibarra, occurred on May 28, 1977 in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada. (Lucy Ibarra Scott died on October 18, 2004 at 67 years of age in Glendale, CA.) The following names were provided by Veromi [ http://www.veromi.com/Lucy-Ibarra.aspx ] appear to reside at his residence in Glendale, Ca. Their names are Charles Oscar Scott, William Sergio Scott and Glenn Ibarra [note: both Charles and William were born last name Federico]. Lucy's children became his step-children and the children had decided to take on last name of Scott even though there is no California Adoption records on them.
Lucy Ibarra was previously married to Guillermo Oscar Federico on14 July 1964 in Los Angeles and divorced in May 1971 as both were immigrants from Argentina. Guillermo received his Naturalization on 23 Nov. 1977. It is believed Lucy obtained her Naturalization in 1977 too. This also happens to be same year Lucy marries Glenn Scott. Not much is really known about Glenn Mills Scott life after his divorce from Evelyn French and leaving New York State.
His social security number is 095-10-5154. His residence was located at 728 Arden Ave. Glendale, Ca and was built in 1925.^ see attached photo ^ In Nov. 1998 the house sold for $224,500. As of 2015, neighboring home prices ranged from $400k to $550k.
As a child he often visited and played at his Uncle Herbert Sherman and Aunt Blanche Mills Sherman's farm in Cato, NY. He grew up in Camillus, NY and moved to Baldwinsville, NY when he married Evelyn L. French Kelly.
On occasions when called upon a family emergency he would return to central New York from Los Angeles which happened a few times in the 1950's and made rare appearances in the 1960's and early 1970's. He came in 1961 for his mother's funeral and also in 1968 for some other reason. He had gone through a double heart by-pass surgery which his son who is also my father, Richard C. Scott, endured. There was very little contact with the family but usually knew how to get in touch if ever needed. At the time of his death, he had 16 grandchildren and a few great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his eldest son, Robert Glen Scott, who died in 1959.
Glenn's only sibling was his sister, Thelma Marie Scott Bush, who died in 1978.
