A vacation visit Mrs Elizabeth J Davis and her son, William J Williams, had greatly anticipated ended in tragedy Tuesday afternoon, June 17 when they were both killed instantly when their car crashed into a tree of the highway in Bridgeport, California.
Williams had come south to attend the graduation of his niece, Betty Jenkins, from Glendale High School. He and his mother left Glendale Tuesday morning for his home in Washington, where she planned a summer visit.
